Emerging Technologies Business Case Study (ETBC) in Master’s Degree in Food Systems: personalised functional foods

In this module, students form international and interdisciplinary teams to develop new and promising business cases for specific emerging technologies in the food sector. Through this program, students have access to specialized mentors who help them by tracking progress, encouraging them to advance in a more personalized way. Each mentor works with teams of 4-5 students in the development of entrepreneurial projects defined by the students themselves. The course is conducted through a combination of workshop sessions with presentations by industry partners, online meetings, mentoring sessions, as well as on-site mentoring by faculty. An online repository of materials for self-study. Business cases are presented to potential investors and in a dedicated workshop session.
